Noraejjang, a Noraebang Event For K-Pop Community With a Twist of Jjang. Founded in 2023, Noraejjang now boasts a squad of over 500 members.
Every week, Korean music fans gather and organize activities with other fans to hype up their idols. One of the K-pop events that fans always eagerly participate in is noraebang (which means karaoke in Korean).
Building on this excitement, Springboard is spicing up Jakarta’s noraebang scene by regularly hosting ‘Noraejjang.’ Held at the end of each month, Noraejjang has now run for the seventh time, with each event featuring a different fandom theme.
At the latest Noraejjang Vol.7, the event invited MOA (fans of the group TXT). It was a lively and merry gathering at Kaskus Playground on June 29, 2024. Noraejjang is free of charge, but participants are required to fill out a registration form to maintain the limit of 150 attendees.
Noraejjang Vol.7 started at 2 PM with re-registration for the participants. The event officially began at 3 PM, opening with a sing-along to TXT’s latest comeback song ‘Deja Vu.’ All the MOAs lit up their fandom lightsticks and sang together. Kaskus Playground was filled with the cheers and energy of MOAs.
MOAs came prepared, bringing banners with their idols’ faces, complete with funny captions. They consecutively sang all of TXT’s hits, from ‘9 and Three Quarters (Run Away)’, ‘0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)’, ‘Blue Hour’, to ‘Crown’. In total, MOAs sang 32 TXT songs, and for three hours, there was no sign of fatigue, as everyone joyfully sang along to every song.
During each noraebang session, there were quiz breaks hosted by the MC, where lucky participants could win the latest TXT album by guessing MV clips shown on the screen. Additionally, there were exclusive freebies from Tri Indonesia.
The event lasted for three hours and concluded with a group photo session. All attendees also received exclusive Noraejjang freebies, such as tote bags, hand fans, unofficial photocards, and snacks. Even after the event ended, MOAs stayed at Kaskus Playground to take photos at the TXT photo wall provided, sharing the fun of Noraejjang on social media.
