Inspiring cooking class collaboration from Buka Dapur x BINUS TV offers simple recipes and business insights for aspiring culinary entrepreneurs.
Buka Dapur is Back! Buka Dapur is part of a series of inspirational events regularly organized by Endeus TV. On Tuesday, September 3rd, Buka Dapur collaborated with BINUS TV and the Business Hotel Management Department of BINUS by holding a cooking class themed Spill Ide Bisnis Kuliner Super Gampil. This event was successfully held at the Lab Kitchen of BINUS Business Hotel Management and attended by 15 students from the Business Hotel Management Department.
Buka Dapur x BINUS TV was organized to inspire participants who wish to develop themselves in the culinary business field. This cooking event was led by renowned Chef Lecturer Dr. Aditya Nova Putra, S.E., B.A., M.Par (Subject Content Coordinator Culinary – Hotel Management) and Gratia Aiko Roselyn, S.Tr.Par., M.Par (Lab Officer Business Hotel Management), along with Endah, the Food Editor from Endeus TV, who also guided the participants as a cooking instructor.
There were two menus practiced by the participants, namely Mushroom Jiggly Pudding and Chicken Aglio Olio. The participants were divided into four teams, each consisting of 3-4 people at one station. The great thing about Buka Dapur x BINUS TV is that all the ingredients and cooking equipment were provided according to the measurements, so the participants just needed to follow the chef’s instructions.
The first menu cooked by the participants was Mushroom Jiggly Pudding, guided by Chef Gratia Aiko. After mixing all the dough ingredients, the mixture was placed in a mold and put into the chiller. While waiting for the pudding to set, the participants continued with the second menu, which was Chicken Aglio Olio. Chef Aditya guided the participants while sharing some historical facts and tips about Aglio Olio pasta.
Many participants were excited and actively asked questions to Chef Aditya.
After both dishes were completed and plated, all participants were given the opportunity to taste and enjoy the results of their creations. Additionally, participants were allowed to take home the dishes they made. Before leaving, the event concluded with a photo session between the chefs and participants.
