Discovering Indonesia with Rideventure and Kaskus
Rideventure is more than just a ride – it’s an immersive experience hosted by Kaskus, Indonesia’s largest online community, and Federal Oil. These two brands aim to unite motorcycle enthusiasts by offering an unforgettable journey across cities including Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Malang, and Bali. With an exclusive lineup of participants, including influencers Alitt Susanto and Fadel Muhammad, the trip promises adventure, camaraderie, and unparalleled sights. Riders will experience Federal Oil’s high-quality products firsthand, enhancing their journey with reliable motorcycle performance.
Rideventure 2022 Itinerary: From Jakarta to Bali
The Rideventure journey kicked off on May 16, 2022, from Kaskus Networks’ office in South Jakarta. Riders, equipped with Federal Oil, convoyed from Jakarta to the next destination, Yogyakarta, to begin their journey. They experienced the best of Yogyakarta’s cultural sites, such as the famed Mount Merapi and Menoreh Hill, with an overnight stay at the iconic ‘Ndalem Sabrang Lor’ villa – owned by a fellow motorcycle enthusiast. The night concluded with a bonfire, delicious local food, and stories that bonded the riders before setting off for more adventures.
The journey continued with exhilarating rides up and down challenging terrain, including the majestic Puncak Ngisis Nglinggo with scenic tea gardens. Riders enjoyed a traditional coffee tasting experience with Kopi Suroloyo, giving them a true taste of local flavors.
Journey to East Java: Malang and the Iconic Mount Bromo
After exploring Yogyakarta, the Rideventure team set out early for Malang, navigating a scenic route filled with mountainous views and cultural encounters. Upon arriving in Malang, the team visited Mount Bromo, one of East Java’s most renowned tourist spots. The riders explored the Teletubbies Hill green savanna, captured the sunrise, and experienced the cold, refreshing air unique to this region. Their stay at Cemara Indah, a prime location near Mount Bromo, allowed the team to rest and recharge amid stunning landscapes.
A Grand Finale in Bali: Adventure, Tradition, and Celebration
The final leg of the Rideventure tour brought the team to Bali, where they explored the rugged beauty of Black Lava and ended their journey at Wyndham Jivva Resort with a memorable closing ceremony. The celebration included a traditional Pendet Dance, honoring Balinese culture and marking the end of an epic journey. Special guests like Sir Sri Adinegara, Market Development Director of Federal Oil, and Audrey Sianturi, Community Director at Kaskus Networks, joined the festivities, celebrating the spirit of adventure and connection that Rideventure created.
